Cuts the wasted travel at the bottom of the clutch pedal, so you only push as far as the clutch needs. Set it anywhere from just under stock to a much shorter throw.
There's a cavity behind the clutch pedal. Our clutch stop is made to its exact dimensions, so it slides in behind the pedal and secures cleanly with 3M tape. No drilling, and a clean, factory look.
The clutch stops that came before it have been out of stock for years, and they never looked like they belonged in the car. Ours is designed to look as OEM as possible, with a clean, factory-quality fit, and it drastically improves the feel of the clutch.
The easiest, most affordable and most rewarding mod you'll do to your Porsche.
With the adapter installed, the car can start without the clutch pressed. Always make sure it's in neutral before starting.

Fits the manual-transmission Porsche 911 (996, 997), Boxster (986, 987) and Cayman (987). Manual cars only, not PDK or Tiptronic. Does not fit the 991 or 981. Not sure about your car? Send us your year and model.
I own a Porsche 996 Turbo, and my biggest gripe with the car was the clutch feel. Compared to every other manual car I've owned, it was horrible. I knew something had to be done.
So I teamed up with a friend. One of us brings a deep engineering background, the other an entrepreneurial one, and together we're building the part that fixes it.
Designed and manufactured in California.

A short list of parts we'd put on our own cars. Nothing more.
A clutch stop limits how far the clutch pedal travels at the bottom of its stroke. Manual 911s, Boxsters and Caymans have a lot of travel past the point where the clutch fully disengages. Cutting that wasted travel means you only push as far as the clutch needs, for faster, smoother shifts and a better pedal feel.
As a clutch wears over time, the bite point moves up and that wasted travel at the bottom of the pedal gets even larger. That's why the Renetic clutch stop is adjustable. With a brand-new clutch, run it on the lowest setting. With an older clutch, or one that simply has a high bite point, adjust it all the way out.
Manual-transmission cars only. 911: 996 (1999–2005) and 997 (2005–2012). Boxster: 986 (1997–2004) and 987 (2005–2012). Cayman: 987 (2006–2012). It does not fit the 991, 981, or PDK or Tiptronic cars. Not sure about yours? Email us your year and model.
No drilling. Clean the pedal area with the included alcohol pad, slide the clutch stop into the cavity behind the clutch pedal, secure it with the 3M double-sided tape, plug in the wire adapter and adjust it using the included instructions. It installs in seconds.
The plug-and-play adapter is required with the clutch stop. It disables the clutch start safety switch and helps prevent premature clutch slave cylinder and accumulator wear. With it installed the car can start without the clutch pressed, so always make sure it's in neutral before starting.
Yes, 100%. Remove the clutch stop and unplug the adapter, and the car is back to stock.
